Working with us…Frequently Asked Questions
The following FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS are meant to help with general questions about what it is we do, who we are, and what you can expect from us. Should you have specific questions not found here please contact us.
What are we looking for?
We are always looking for fresh faced amateur models and actresses. We are interested in all types, but usually lean toward the “girl next door” types. We are looking for females that are looking to get into the business, have been in the business a short while, or seasoned professionals. What we are not looking for, is to charge you for portfolio fees, lie to you, mislead you, or promise you anything we can’t deliver on.
What can you expect to do for VMG?
The majority of our projects are simple photo and video productions. We always have openings available for still photo work and video work. The choice to do either is up to you. We are always hiring, a more detailed list of some of our current assignments can be found in our current jobs section.
We respect to limits, we will never ask you to participate in something that makes you feel uncomfortable, but this is an adult entertainment company. We need talent that is aware of that and does not have a problem with being naked in front of the camera. We will always explain to you in detail what we are looking for from each project and you always have the right to refuse.
Still not sure if this is for you? The info below may help you decide.
Lots of people really like the “idea” of modeling, and have thought about it for a long time, but the reality is a whole different thing. We are interested in the girls that have already decided they are going to do it. We are not going to try talk you into it, if you are not really sure you should do this, we will probably be trying to talk you out of it. If there is any doubt in your mind about doing this, don’t do it.
We don’t want anyone walking away from this experience, regretting it the second the camera goes off or the first time you see your pictures. We are not going to ask a client to take down your pictures. You signed a release, you no longer have any say about the videos or photos you shot, it doesn’t belong to you.
We know this sounds like we are being discouraging, but we don’t want you feeling like you were mislead, or deceived. We want you knowing what to expect right up front. We’d rather scare off 95% of you and have the 5% left that are really into it, are up for having some really great sexy fun, making some good cash, and possibly finding a new career path.
How much money can I expect to make?
Well there are a lot of ways to make a lot of money in this industry. With us it is through either photo, video or a combination of both. You will be paid at the end of every shoot. Your pay will be discussed up front before we get started.
Pay rates vary greatly, I would suggest you submit your pics and info to us or come in for an interview, allow us to find out what it is you would like to do for us and we can discuss rates then. You can expect to make a great deal of money for work which requires no experience.
Photo work
Involves just that, you posing for a photographer. It will usually involve a couple hours of your time posing in several stages of undress for the camera. Posing experience is helpful but not necessary.
Video work
Video work involves you acting out or performing fantasies on video with either yourself, or others. Video assignments are different from photo assignments in that you are going to be asked to perform on film. We don’t expect you to have much acting ability but you are going to need to play to the camera.
Please keep in mind these are professional sets, there will be no alcohol, or drugs allowed on the set. The crew is always kept to a minimum to ensure the models comfort. Under no circumstances are extra people allowed on the set. Your safety, the safety of our staff and your comfort are our top priorities.
Is this a “one-time assignment?
That is up to you. The initial assignment is usually only the beginning with us. If we find there is a demand for you with our buyers we will of course ask you to do more work with us. Suffice to say a person that is willing to do this work and enjoys themselves in front of the camera can make a lot of money in this business. VMG is a great place to get your start in this industry or just get you some extra cash.
Who will see this stuff?
All of our content is distributed over the internet. Does this mean your friends and family won’t see it? Of course not, we simply cannot guarantee that. What is the chance of that happening? In our experience it has occurred vary rarely. Most of the people who see our content, view it once and then move on. Even the videos are purchased for private use. If you are still hesitant because of exposure we have a few options available that can limit exposure.
OK, so if you are still interested this is a little of what you can expect:
The paperwork.
You initial interview will be with a talent coordinator. They will ask to see a copy of your ID [a drivers license, state ID, passport, or birth certificate], no option here, the way the law is currently set up, you are assumed to be under 18, unless we can PROVE otherwise, doesn’t matter if you look 75, legally your under 18 unless we can prove your over 18.
We will then have you look at our portfolio so you can get a visual idea of the type of poses we will ask of you. if you are interested we will have you fill out an application. We will then need to get about a half dozen photos of you dressed and undress. These photos are for the application only and will not be used anywhere other than by VMG staff.
We will then go over what opportunities we feel would work best for you based on your looks and your limits. If you are in agreement and wish to move forward we will schedule your first shoot, it could even be right then and there if you are up for it!
So if you can hang with everything above, email us and get started. If you are not, thanks for at least looking it over & if you change your mind, we’ll be here.
